Host your wedding celebration at our beautiful vintage hall. The original 1930s stage and sprung dancefloor provides the perfect backdrop for dining, dancing, and making lifelong memories. Bringing together the past and present, wi-fi and infra-red heating invisibly provide modern comforts in a retro setting. Flexible space: The Theatre Hall seats up to 120, with the adjacent Meeting Room providing kitchen and catering space for larger parties that wish to use the Theatre Hall for dining. The Meeting Room itself can seat up to 40 for more intimate celebrations, leaving the main hall free for dancing. The Events Lawn runs alongside the main hall with double doors and steps leading to the lawn. A quiet and private space with a relaxing atmosphere for outdoor celebrations. Practicalities: Good wi-fi . Bluetooth to speakers. Portable microphone. On-stage sockets for music and stage lighting. Excellent newly-installed infra-red heating system keeps the hall warm and inviting for winter weddings and chilly summer evenings. The hall has limited glassware and crockery, but these items can be hired locally; see LINKS on main menu. Please discuss your requirements with the ESVH team. Accessibility: wheelchair ramp to side entrance of the main hall and grassy ramp to the events lawn. As yet, the hall does not have dedicated accessible toilet facilities, so please check suitability in advance of confirming your booking. Parking: parking for thirty cars at the hall with overspill at the GP surgery opposite and Primary School (5 mins walk) outside opening hours. Unrestricted parking is also possible along The Street. Cars and small vans/pickups can access the Events Lawn via a grass slope for setting up any outdoor structures. Local services include excellent catering; florists for creating formal or informal settings; hire of glassware and crockery; marquees and tents; PA and sound systems.
