Events Lawn Hire Charges: with whole building. Hourly Rate Weekdays only £20 (minimum hire 2hrs.) Full-Day Rate Weekdays £100 Full-Day Rate Weekends £150 Long Weekend £500 (Fri-Mon) A new Events Lawn with direct access from the Theatre Hall and Car-Park has the potential for many types of outdoor Celebrations and Festivities as well as giving the possibility of outdoor classes and workshops, such as Yoga and Pilates. Hiring the Events Lawn includes the use of the Kitchen and a variety of tables, chairs, kitchen crockery and glasses by arrangement. The main Theatre Hall can also be booked to hire the whole building with the Events Lawn for larger events. The Lawn has a calm country setting, with the edges allowed to be wild and areas encouraging wildlife and native plants. Enclosed and peaceful it makes a lovely additional space and backdrop for your event. Good Wi-fi and fast Broadband indoors and outdoors can be used for card payment facilities at Fairs and Festivals. The Kitchen within the Meeting Room allows for light catering, and the Lawn can also be set café-style for summer Coffee Mornings and Afternoon Tea Parties. It is possible for small street-food style vans to drive onto the Events Lawn during the summer months. See the Accessories page for more details of additional items for hire. Larger capacity for non-seated indoor and outdoor events (please discuss numbers before booking.) Accessibility: Wheelchair access to the Hall via a ramp through side doors and a grassy slope to the Events Lawn. Please note: we do not as yet have disabled toilet facilities (a fundraising campaign is in progress to address this.) A hearing loop is available in the Theatre Hall only. Management: Please liaise with the VH Committee for smooth management of your event. For larger events or weekend bookings we can work with you to create a design that makes the most of the space to suit the style of your event.
