About The Event
Klara and Jan Ashwell and the Vegetables With Attitude team present The Hunger Gap, the second of their delicious Pop-Up Supper Clubs. Join us for a fabulous evening of food, music and drink.
'The Hunger Gap' traditionally refers to the months in late spring when there is tantalisingly little produce ready to crop, yet the sun is out and everything has started to grow, but is not yet mature. With a mixture of ingenuity, foraging and expertise, VWA have created a delicious four course vegetarian set menu, ensuring that delicious meals can still be made during this frugal time of the year.
A welcome cocktail, three starters, a main, and a dessert will all be inspired by methods of jarring, foraging, fermenting, and seasonal produce, Where possible, the ingredients will be organic and provided locally by Five Rod Farm.
