About The Event
Join family, friends and neighbours this New Year to walk the footpaths, tracks and bridleways of Earl Soham.
Routes of different lengths to suit all ages. Please get in touch if you would like to take part as we need to know numbers.Â
Gather for a cup of coffee at 10am, choose your route and collect a map before heading off to walk the village pathways.
We will take note of the condition of paths, missing signposts, bridges that need attention whilst also enjoying the January landscape, wildlife and fresh air. Maybe you will discover a path you did not know..or a bit of village history. Mud guaranteed.
A simple but hearty lunch will be served in the Village Hall.Â
The event will only be cancelled in extreme weather or heavy rain..a bit of light rain may be possible.
Please bring a change of shoes for the hall for after the walk and for lunch.
Dogs are very welcome: on a lead in the Hall please, and do bring a towel to wipe muddy paws !
We are expecting to finish at different times but be back at the hall for 12.30ish with lunch at 1pm.
A simple but hearty lunch will cater for v. and vg. but please let us know if you require a gluten-free option.
We are looking forward to a lovely sociable day whilst also helping to keep our footpaths alive.
This is a free community event in collaboration with ES Parish Council.Â
Kick off our 90th year and get your boots on !Â
