Earl Soham Open Gardens 2027

A relaxing day out visiting the gardens of Earl Soham.

Tickets include a Trail Map with gardens information, walking routes, car parking spots and refreshment stops.

Gardens of different shapes and sizes, styles and interest: join friends and family for a gardens tour of a lovely Suffolk village.

Refreshments available:

Café-in-the-Kitchen, 10am-4pm, Earl Soham Village Hall: fresh coffee, tea, herbies, delicious home-made cakes, light lunches and licensed Bar serving wine, beer, zeros and softs. All profits from the café support ESVH Renovation Fund. Charity No.

Pimms on the lawn at Falcon House from midday: treat yourself to a Pimms and a leisurely afternoon catch-up with friends.

NOTES:

Tickets £5 per person. Tickets include a Trail Map and can be purchased from ESVH on the day by cash/card or in advance on the website, here...see booking information below. Tickets purchased online will receive a digital ticket straight away, occasional updates and a digital Map forwarded a few days in advance of the event (Please select your preference for an additional hard copy of the map if required, when booking.)

Children 16 and under: free entry.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome, on leads and under close control at all times.

Cancellation: the event will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or unforseen circumstances. Therefore, please come with appropriate clothing and either sun protection or brollies !!!

Walking routes of different lengths and ease will be marked on the map. For those choosing to walk to outlying gardens using field paths, please note the ground may be uneven in places, so please bring suitable footwear.

Parking is available at the Village Hall, GP surgery opposite the Hall, and at the Village School. Unrestricted parking along The Street and around The Green.

Bicycles: garden owners request bikes to be parked outside; they are not allowed inside gardens unless advertised. Bicycles can also be parked at the village hall against the Event lawn railings (at owner's risk.)

Clippings and snippings: as a courtesy to garden owners, please not not take cuttings of plants. Some gardens may have plants for sale and most garden owners would be happy to give plant information if you see an interesting or must-have plant !

Weeds ...or a perfect plant in the perfect place ? In line with current thinking and environmentally friendly garden practice, in many gardens you will see plants you might still describe as weeds.. either cleverly finding their own perfect spot by accident or carefully encouraged for wildlife. Please enjoy the different styles of gardens you will see en route; formal, traditional, natural and wild !
